Jonathan DePeri founded Gotham Arts in 2014 to promote and present classical music artists through recitals in intimate and convivial settings, providing a stage for music and artistry that might otherwise not be heard in NYC.

 

A classically trained pianist, organist, and violinist, Jonathan concertizes with a variety of vocal and instrumental collaborators, in particular focus on the German and Russian art song repertoire, folk music including especially African-American spirituals, and chamber music.

 

In 2018 he was named Honorary Assistant Organist at St. John’s in the Village for his ongoing contributions as organist to both concert and liturgical musical programming.
